NARBONNE-PLAGE
On the Aude coastline, our real estate experts know this charming and historic area inside out. For more than twenty years, we have been supporting all types of real estate projects, from primary residences to second homes and seaside rental investments.
Established since 1999 in our premises on Place de la Méditerranée, Fütterer Property has grown from the very beginning to become a historic agency in the area. It then became the parent agency of two branches, opened in 2005 in Gruissan Les Ayguades and in 2021 in Narbonne. Today, the Narbonne-Plage real estate agency houses the administrative services, the sales department with one of our sales agents, Rasmus, the holiday rental management with Elodie, and the condominium management offices with Clara, Jade, and Pascale, as well as most of the team, the rest being based in Gruissan and Narbonne.
We offer our concierge and management services à la carte for short-term rentals located on the Côte du Midi. A great opportunity to invest in an idyllic setting while making your property profitable.
It was in 1998 that Futterer Property specialized in condominium management. We have stood out by offering management that is close to our clients and impartial, which has been highly appreciated by many co-owners. We have also adopted an international approach with a trilingual team, French – German – English, which allows us to effectively meet the needs of a multilingual clientele.
In some cases, we are able to organize general meetings using simultaneous translation in French and German or English, which helps improve communication with foreign owners and supports the smooth operation of the building.
GRUISSAN
Our Gruissan agency is located in the Super Gruissan shopping center, in the Ayguades district. This district is a unique place where you can enjoy the beauty of the Mediterranean. With its fine sandy beaches and wild dunes, it is the perfect place to spend a sunny day. Also known for its water sports activities, Gruissan is the ideal destination for kitesurfing and windsurfing enthusiasts. During the summer season, Gruissan is lively, with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Many events are also organized on the beach, such as open-air concerts and sports competitions.
Beyond the beaches of the Côte du Midi, there are many other things to see and do when you are in Gruissan. The Tourisme Equestre Les Ayguades riding center offers a wide range of activities around horses and ponies, such as rides through the Massif de la Clape, introductory archery courses, and much more.
The Gruissan lighthouse and beacon museum is also an interesting place to visit to learn more about the region’s maritime history.
The must-see old village with its famous Barberousse Tower and its 14th-century church at the heart of the circular village layout is perfect for strolls in the shade of its narrow streets.
Overall, Gruissan is a lively and dynamic village offering a variety of activities for tourists and residents alike. It is definitely a place to discover during your visit.
NARBONNE & ITS VILLAGES
Narbonne, a city in the south of France crossed by the Canal de la Robine, is the largest and most populated municipality in its department, Aude. Thanks to its location in the heart of the Narbonnaise en Méditerranée Regional Natural Park, Narbonne is fortunate to be surrounded by other protected natural sites, such as the Massif de la Clape, the Sainte-Marie de Fontfroide Abbey area, and the Bages-Sigean lagoon.
The city lies in the heart of an environment made up of garrigue scrubland and vineyards; close to the Côte du Midi coastline, it is a highly touristic region with a forty-five-kilometre fine sandy shoreline, including 6 seaside resorts ranging from Saint-Pierre-La-Mer to Leucate, via Narbonne-Plage, Gruissan, Port-la-Nouvelle, and La-Palme.
Founded by the Romans, Narbo Martius (Narbonne today) was born in 118 BC; it was their oldest colony in Gaul, and its urban center still bears traces of many centuries of history (such as the Via Domitia on the town hall square). Listed as a city of art and history on the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1996. The city benefits from emblematic historical, cultural, and environmental heritage. Remains from the medieval period, such as Saint-Just-et-Saint-Pasteur Cathedral, Notre-Dame de Lamourguier Church, and the Archbishop’s Palace, take you on a journey through the Middle Ages that shaped Narbonne.
Narbovia, the new museum of the city of Narbonne, has displayed more than 1,000 works and objects since its opening on May 19, 2021. This place retraces the history of the ancient city of Narbo Martius through a collection of funerary blocks, mosaics and wall paintings, as well as 3D projections of the ancient city and its port. Narbonne enjoys 3,000 hours of sunshine per year. Plenty to enjoy the city center and its terraces all year round. Located in the heart of Occitanie, it is an essential crossroads of southern France.
The villages surrounding Narbonne offer a wealth of advantages to residents and visitors. These charming localities combine countryside charm with close proximity to urban conveniences. Their many benefits include a peaceful lifestyle, preserved natural beauty, exceptional cultural and historical richness, delicious local gastronomy, and easy access to the Mediterranean beaches.
These villages offer a peaceful living environment far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Residents can enjoy a more relaxed pace of life, a friendly atmosphere, and a strong sense of community. Surrounded by preserved nature, with magnificent landscapes such as vineyards, green hills, and winding rivers, outdoor enthusiasts can explore these natural environments, go hiking, cycling, or walking in the heart of generous nature.
These small municipalities also offer a rich cultural and historical heritage. Medieval castles, old churches, Roman remains, and fortified villages bear witness to a fascinating past. History and culture lovers can immerse themselves in these sites and learn more about the region’s history.
Local gastronomy is another undeniable advantage. The villages are full of small producers and local markets where you can taste regional specialties. The villages of Aude benefit from a privileged location near the Mediterranean Sea; they are true gems offering an idyllic living environment.
